Little.clotherie.Family is a website for renting occasional outfits for children (Ceremony, ski)
Little.Clotherie.Family was born from a triple observation:
1. Children grow up fast and consequently have a great need to renew their wardrobe; some of their clothes are so little worn that they can easily live not 1 but several new lives
2. We are over-consuming and the planet is in danger; it is urgent to change our thinking and consumption habits. The textile industry is the 2nd most polluting industry in the world.
3. Quality clothes from big or small confidential brands are expensive Also, my experience as a mother led me to ask myself the question of the interest of buying, for example, a christening outfit that he will only wear one day, or a ski suit one week in the year.
My ambition was therefore to propose a new model of consumption that is more responsible, sustainable and humanistic (in order to act immediately), through an exceptional, practical and simple rental experience. Goodbye to clothes thrown away in the bin or gathering dust at the back of the wardrobe. Hello choice, freedom, meaning! That's why I launched Little.Clotherie.Family, a premium service for renting outfits from the most beautiful brands for children: to rent an exceptional outfit without breaking the bank, in a responsible way, for a religious ceremony, a family or friendly party, or a seasonal activity such as skiing for example.
Interests:
have the right outfit in the right size whatever the season and the event stop ruining yourself in compulsive and shameful purchases play with fashion for your children, by testing a new style without committing to a purchase, be free to change when you want!
To say stop to the over-consumption of clothes and thus contribute to save our planet asphyxiated by textile pollution and to enter into a process of eco-responsibility in the way of consuming.
My life as a responsible mother:
I am not perfect but I try to set up habits within my family and to explain in particular to my 5 year old son the value of water not to waste it (not to run the water while brushing the teeth, to limit baths to the maximum, to reuse the water of crockery, etc...) I also try to raise his awareness by watching documentaries on the disastrous effects of plastic on the blue planet, for example. I believe in the power of educating our children to save their world.
Green tip:
It's funny but I've never felt "green", even if I apply certain rules of life in this sense. My advice would be to stop throwing away everything at home because everything can be transformed. There are now many services that help us to repair, transform, upcycle. (Murfy, Tilli, Canette...) I believe in the power of this new economy.
My best anti-stain trick:
Yes, my job, apart from being a logistician, is also a laundress ;-) I use white vinegar a lot, but also bicarbonate and lemon juice.
Favourite Risu Risu piece:
I have flashed on a summer pyjama model this year: the Dormeur grandpa, that I will make my son wear both day and night. I love these stripes :)
