To cook is to love and take time to please!
In the manner of Catherine Deneuve in the film Peau d'Ane by Jacques Demi, we offer you a delicious cake recipe created by Cécile. As pretty as it is delicious, made with seasonal
ingredients, organic of course, for an impressive result!
Ingredients:
- 100g organic soft butter softened at room temperature
- 200g organic cane sugar
- 2 organic eggs
- 1 organic blood orange (juice and zest)
- 60 ml milk
- 200 g organic flour
- 1/2 packet of yeast without phosphate
- For the icing: 250g icing sugar and the juice of a blood orange, a pomegranate
.
Preparation:
Turn on the oven to 180°.
Add the eggs one by one and the juice and zest of the blood orange and the milk. Mix the dough well and gradually add the sifted flour and yeast.
Line and line individual muffin tins to 3/4 of their size.
Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until puffed up, golden brown and the blade of a knife comes out without batter.
Leave to cool for 20 minutes and prepare the glaze by squeezing an orange and adding the juice to 250g icing sugar.
Mix well until you have a smooth pink paste. Cover each muffin with the icing and add pomegranate seeds if you like (or rosemary flowers if they are in bloom at home!).
Enjoy these pretty, all organic, seasonal pink cakes!
