.
Bonjour !
.`
Would you like a new take on a classic? For the many advent snacks, around a board game, with a good cup of Christmas tea or a delicious hot chocolate... By the fire, after a walk in nature or at the museum, as comforting, light as good and festive, Cécile has prepared the recipe of the marbled chestnut-vanilla cake.
.
Ingredients:
.
125g soft butter or melted over a very low heat; 100g caster sugar 1 sachet of vanilla sugar and a teaspoon of vanilla extract 2 large tablespoons of chestnut cream 3 eggs 1/2 sachet of yeast without phosphates
.
. . Preparation: .
Mix the sugar, butter and yolks in a large bowl until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
.
Gradually add the flour and yeast and mix well. Beat the 3 egg whites until stiff and fold them gently into the batter. Divide the batter into two bowls.
Add the vanilla and vanilla extract to one bowl and the chestnut cream to the other.
Line a cake tin and fill it with spoonful after spoonful, alternating the vanilla and chestnut dough.
.
Bake for 35-40 minutes in a preheated oven at 180°C. The cake is cooked when the tip of a knife comes out "dry".
Leave to cool on a wire rack before eating.
